At the FIDIC International Infrastructure Conference in Jakarta 2017 held on October 2, we were commended the FIDIC Award of Merit for the Integrated Water Resources and Flood Management Project for Semarang (JICA Loan IP-534).

This is awarded for the outstanding consulting services for the projects which have been in operation for at least 1 year and have been completed in the last 5 years, judging from project's innovation, quality, and professional excellence; the principles of transparency and integrity and; sustainability for the environment. CTII is the first Japanese consultants who have won the FIDIC Award of Merit.

For receiving this award, appreciated were especially such points as diversity and integrity of the implementation and operation method of the works to solve the water related problems in Semarang city which CTII has been implementing since March 1992.

The consulting services rendered by CTII include a) construction supervision of improvement works of the West Floodway and the Garang River, rehabilitation works of the Simongan Weir and construction of the Jatibarang dam, b) planning and implementation of pilot project of nonstructural measures (disaster management and watershed management) and c) study on ground subsidence of Semarang city, and so on.�@
