The ceremony was held attended by President Naoki Fujiwara and distinguished members Ambassador of Japan to Vanuatu, Representative of JICA Vanuatu Office and Prime Minister, Deputy Prime minister and ministers from Vanuatu side.
CTII was able to construct and open the new Teouma Bridge, which was damaged by Cyclone Pam in 2015, 10 years since the Data Collection Survey on Rehabilitation of Teouma Bridge on the Ring Road in the Efate Island in 2016.
During these ten years, CTII experienced the COVID-19 pandemic starting in 2020 and the earthquake on December 17, 2024.
